Purpose and Reason:
This amendment makes no changes to the current gift regulation, other than to remove language referring to a disclosure requirement that was eliminated by the Commission in 2005. Because that prior amendment was effective mid-way through a calendar year, the disclosure requirement remained in effect from January through April of 2005, and it was therefore necessary to maintain the disclosure language in the regulation for a period of time. It was anticipated in 2005 that these sections would be eliminated at some point after calendar year 2005. There are no differences between the proposed amendment and the final regulation as adopted.
